We are an academic-driven student group dedicated to exploring ethical hacking and cybersecurity through legal, hands-on experience. Our mission is to empower students with the skills, knowledge, and direction they need to thrive in the cybersecurity field. At the core of our club is a strong commitment to education and career development. We host technical workshops, organize Capture the Flag (CTF) training, and help members discover their individual paths in cybersecurity—whether it's red teaming, blue teaming, threat intel, or something else entirely. We proudly compete across North America: our CTF team placed 1st at BSides Calgary 2025 and 4th nationally in the NCL (Cyber Skyline) Spring 2025 season, helping establish MacEwan as a rising force in cybersecurity education. Our goal is to make MacEwan University a recognized name in cybersecurity, and we actively work to build a campus culture around it. We facilitate networking with industry professionals, host speaker events, and connect students with employers for mentorship and job opportunities.
